About Richard's talk - The Create Edge: "Human Made. AI Powered."
At OH SIX, we create thumb-stopping, premium content for the world’s biggest brands in sport and culture - where pace is relentless, attention is short, and ideas need to move people in seconds. The future lies in balance. Creativity remains at the core: human brains behind the hook, the why, the bold thinking that cuts through. But now it’s paired with a smarter infrastructure—leveraging tech and AI to streamline delivery, stretch budgets, and meet constant demand without slowing down. This is creativity, enabled—where human ideation meets AI efficiency, and challenger agencies like ours use the best of both brains and bots to stay sharp, work loud, and deliver at scale for content-hungry digital audiences.
I'll share insights and hands-on experience of using tech, data and AI to streamline, reduce cost and save time across each business function from HR & Finance to Client service delivery.
Richard has spent 20 years working with the world's biggest brands, most recognised talent and growing unique marketing agencies. From creating the most watched global sponsorship content with elite sports teams to leading on sustainability with B Corp certification and re-wilding projects, he can always be found working at the cutting edge of business innovation.
After running internal tech teams at a £20m agency, Richard has built a new agency business model which is "Ai-enabled, sustainable as standard", built to efficiently tackle global creative content production for brands marketing within sports and entertainment. He is leading the implementation of the latest tech tools, processes and integration of Ai across business.

About Chris's talk
AI is not new, but as many technologies before it, it has just recently turned the corner to emerge from the obscurity of niche application to mass market use and public visibility. Arthur C. Clarke famously stated that "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic”. This inability of the general public to distinguish what is real from the ‘hype’ perpetuated by the media perpetuates many false ideas that are unhelpful in finding the balance of where AI should be leveraged for societal and economic benefit, from the limits, barriers, and restrictions that should rightly be put in place.
